2026 ONTARIO NOVICE TOURNAMENT OVERVIEW [PLEASE READ CAREFULLY]
We are excited to announce the 3rd Annual Ontario Novice Tournament!
This tournament is open to Novice boxers ONLY (0–10 bouts) in the following categories:
Male & Female
- Initiation Funbox (Born in 2016, 2017, 2018,2019,2020) *Depending on the amount of entries, could be subject to change to SPARRING ONLY DAY ON SATURDAY
- Junior A U13(Born in 2014 & 2015)
- Junior B U15 (Born in 2012 & 2013)
- Junior C U17 (Born in 2010 & 2011)
- Youth U19 (Born in 2008 & 2009)
- Elite (Born 1986-2007)
- **NO MASTERS CATEGORY
Note, categories will be spilt into sub categories 0-5 bouts and 6-10 bouts
Please read the information below carefully for all the details.
Registering for this tournament does not guarantee a bout. However, early registration significantly improves your chances of securing a bout.
Additionally, be aware that the maximum number of entries is 450 participants.
If that number is reached before the WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5, 2026 deadline, registration will CLOSE EARLY!
REGISTRATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED ONCE THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES HAS BEEN REACHED AND/OR AFTER THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE.
We encourage you to register as soon as possible to enhance your chances of participation!
90 DAY POLICY:
Categories of Membership Active Member Actively Engaged – An Active Member is an individual who is actively engaged in amateur boxing as a competitor, coach or official. Active membership is required to engage in sparring activities and must be held for at least 90 days before engaging in competition or before engaging in a sanctioned event

If you are a new member and have been registered for less than 90 days (After May 23, 2026), you will not be able to participate in this tournament and will be removed.
If you are renewing your membership, please ensure you are registered by June 1, 2026
MEDICALS:
If your medical has expired, you have until Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 to submit a new medical conducted by a licensed M.D.
If your medical is not submitted by the above date, you will be removed and refunded.
REFUND POLICY
REFUNDS WILL NOT BE PROVIDED ONCE THE DRAW IS COMPLETED. HOWEVER, REFUNDS WILL BE PROVIDED TO THOSE WHO DID NOT RECEIVE A BOUT.
