Kajaks Track & Field Club ANNUAL membership for athletes age 14+ runs from September/October 2025 – end of July 2026.
**memberships can be paid online, or by etransfer. Payment plans are always an option, contact us for details: info@kajaks.ca
Kajaks ANNUAL membership allows athletes to train in event groups of their choosing: Distance & Cross Country; Hurdles, Sprints & Jumps and Throws (Discus, Hammer, Javelin and Shot Put).
Event groups begin their season on a schedule set by their coach, season ending dates in the summer 2026 will be determined by competition schedules.
All athletes must have a BC Athletics membership in place before starting training, more about that below.

Registration - 2 steps:
Step One - Kajaks Club registration for AD Annual program 2025-2026:
• Annual Club AD membership registration is open!
• Club Event group schedule is attached
• Event group info is also available on our website: https://www.kajaks.ca/athlete-development
• Club membership includes a Kajaks New Balance Dri-fit Club shirt
• Annual membership fee is $1125, payable online with a 5% convenience fee, or by etransfer to info@kajaks.ca (security word answer: orange)
Step Two - BC Athletics registration - new or existing:
• BC Athletics competitive athlete membership is mandatory for all athletes training with our club at all times
• 2025 BC Athletics membership:
o if you have it in place as a 2025 athlete you can skip to 2026 BC Athletics membership note below
o if you need a new 2025 BC Athletics membership - a discounted 2025 membership ($50) is available now at this link

• 2026 BC Athletics membership - ALL ATHLETES will renew for 2026 by December 31st 2025

Seasonal Cross Country option
• September 3, to December 19th, 2025
• Athletes can begin early as Coach Nurten will begin practices August 25th
